The versatile shifter mechanism can be used as a straight-line detent shifter or, by lifting the trigger in the "Low" position, it can be converted to a ratchet action. This flexibility allows you to tailor the shifter's operation to your driving preferences.
For added safety and convenience, the shifter features a backup light switch, neutral safety switch, and NHRA/IHRA reverse lockout. The package includes a T-Handle and a 5-foot-long shifter cable, making installation a straightforward process.
Crafted from a combination of aluminum, steel, and a plastic base, the B&M 80675 StarShifter Automatic Shifter is built to last. The manufacturer backs the automatic shifter components (except the cables) with a limited lifetime warranty, ensuring your investment is well-protected.

However, it is not compatible with TH700R4, TH2004R, or AOD automatic transmissions, and it cannot be used with a reverse pattern manual valve body.
